MRN Contracting is a family-owned and operated home improvement company, specializing in storm damage, roof replacements, exterior construction and renovation for individuals and families across the US. We have expanded our reach from our Monroe, GA headquarters to established branches in Raleigh, NC, Mobile, AL, Baton Rouge, LA and Jackson, MS. Our organization embodies trust, respect, and integrity by constantly striving to advise and protect our homeowners. We pride ourselves on installing complete roofing systems with only the highest quality products in the market. In addition to roofing and storm damage restoration, we offer siding, solar panel, gutter and window services. With each of our service offerings comes an optional financing package for those who could benefit from payment installments. Dedication and quality work have led to industry recognition, making us an AtlasPro Diamond Member, an Owens Corning Preferred Contractor and a CertainTeed Shingle Master, all the while receiving an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau. Our company is fully licensed and insured for both liability and workers compensation.
OUR HISTORY
Prior to MRN Contracting, our founder and CEO, James W. Hewatt, worked as a private contractor installing roofing shingles. He came to understand the roofing culture and competition, along with the notions of unprofessionalism associated with the industry and sought to change these nationwide perceptions. He decided he would establish an industry-leading business by creating smoother processes, incorporating family values into his business model, and putting customers at the heart of his organization.
With only two employees and a 20x20’ room, MRN Contracting was born. Starting a company focused on family values, it seemed fitting to name the business after James' three daughters—Madeline, Riley, and Natalie. Aimed at teaching young professionals about business and success beyond financial gain, he assembled a hardworking and dedicated team. Today, the company has well over one hundred employees and experienced crews throughout the Southeast.
